September 24, 2020. Today we inducted a new member Sharon Perkowski. Yeah!!! We had an outstanding speaker today, Karl Zingheim, USS Midway Historian and a professor of military history.
His presentation was entitled “San Diego Rising: The Navy Takes Notice.” It was absolutely fascinating what we learned today about the history of the Navy presence in San Diego. And yes, it included the Army on Coronado North Island.
