October 26, 2020 – I was the Master of Ceremony at the Rotary Club of Del Mar’s 8th Annual Chili and Quackers Challenge or otherwise know as Ducky Derby. The event was held at the Viewpoint Brewery in Del Mar in person and via Zoom and live streamed on Facebook Live. We had a lot of fun. We used virtual duck races on line where individuals could buy ducks for $20 a per race for cash prices. We had 4 races or Cups to support the Del Mar Lifeguards, Del Mar Community Connections, Del Mar Village Association and the Rotary Club of Del Mar. RCDM donated $750 to each organization. In between the races, the audience was entertained by magician Sky King. He did 4 live performances via Zoom.
