2020 District Conference Planning

October 27, 2020 – I joined a meeting where we discussed the Wine Tasting Event during the 2020 District Conference. Mike Whitehurst (Downtown Breakfast) and from Coronado Club Robin MacCartee, Jane Simeral., Susanne Manual, Pat Flynn, Kitt Williams, Sue Mack, and Dan Gensler attended the Zoom call Scott Anderson is help Dan with negotiating with the Dell.  He was at the Dell as General Manager.  Friday Night Wine Tasing Event – Dell need 150 room nights, 75 people for 2 nights. Rooms at $330 per night.  $50 per person overhead to hold the event. $150 which includes $25 for Polio Plus for the Wine Tasting Event. Both the locations; the Dell and the Community Center will not allow us to pour.

The event is planned for the Windsor Lawn at the Dell. Should COVID19 cases don’t decrease, we may need to move the event to the Spring 2022.
