November 19, 2020 – I hosted the monthly meeting of the Presidents Elect. This meeting covered The Rotary Foundation. After initial comments by DGE Dan Gensler, the group of 27 Presidents Elect and 1 Assistant Governor were divided into 4 breakout rooms with senior facilitators DG Steve Weitzen, PDG Janice Kurth, PDG Marge Cole and DG Nominee Chuck Pretto. The participants then reported out the results of their breakout room.
District Governor Elect Dan Gensler made note of the following events:
PETS March 5 and 6 2021
District Conference September 10, 11, and 12 at The Dell in Coronado which included a End Polio Now fundraiser Friday September 19, Low Tide and Stride on September 12. Room rates will be about $330 per night.
The next Presidents Elect Meeting will be December 17 to cover the 2nd half of the PrePets Foundation training.
