February 8, 2021 – The 6 pm evening meeting included the clubs of Area 3; Carlsbad, Carlsbad Hi-Noon, San Marco and Vista. The meeting was attended by District Governor Steve Weitzen, District Governor Elect Dan Gensler, new Assistant Governor for Area 3 Dawn VanSiclen, and Chief Aide and Chief Assistant Governor Susie Callahan. The meeting was attended by cub presidents and president elects except for Vista President Victoria Waufle the Lisa Rodman, current President of Carlsbad Hi-Noon.
We had a discussion on membership in the club including their current status and initiatives they are working on to increase membership. Carlsbad’s membership numbers include Camp Pendleton as a satellite club. Carlsbad Hi-Noon has new new membership chair that is also a new member. They follow-up with members that have missed meeting. San Marcos has stayed at the same number f members.

- Hi Noon and Carlsbad clubs are providing COVID-19 vaccination volunteers
- Dana suggested a golf event at the District Conference and volunteered to help.
