February 24, 2021 – District Speaker Series feature Past Rotary International President Mark Maloney. Mark is the popcorn king. His home town of Ridgway Illinois declared themselves as the Popcorn Capital of the world. Mark is the Master of Ceremonies of Popcorn Day.
Mark talked about how the Rotary International Convention in Honolulu Hawaii had to be cancelled for the first time in history.
Unfortunately, our Zoom Meeting was bombed by participants that made it impossible to to continue. I terminated the meeting and started it up again and and carefully watched the Waiting Room.
Mark continued to talk about how it was to create material for the virtual Rotary International Convention.
