March 4, 2021 – The weekly meeting started out with the Community Service Committee.
We talked about placing club challenge coins on the benches we refurbish. Toni will check with the City of Del Mar. $150 was allocated to do the project with Bill Rawlings as the lead. The discussion went on to talk a longer term engagement with the City to maintain them.
Then we moved into 15 minutes of chatting in a breakout room.
Jim Davies gave a vocational talk on how to become an electrical engineer. It was very funny.
The guest speak was Ron Pickford – TRF Cadre of Technical Advisors. He is helping our International Service Community with their Global Grant: Safe Delivery for Mother and Babies due to the lack of sterile supplies. He talked about how it was to be a TRF Technical Advisor.
