January 6, 2022 – I was supposed to host the monthly meeting via Zoom. I must have sent the wrong the link to the Team Members in my reminder earlier this week. A new meeting was created from a free account. We had to restart the meeting after 40 min. Awkward!
District Administrator – Patty Fortin – Question was poised about our website. Is the intended audience the public or internal?
District Governor – Dan Gensler not present
Finance – Tom Miller not present
Public Image – Rachael Hopkins We talked a lot about the website and it needed improvements.
Membership – Ron Kohl and Ranjan Lahiri Ron reported 62 net new members as of last month last month. We now have a new club, Mission Valley Evening. The District is now net 14 after all the changes. Membership Workshop scheduled for January 19th. Membership Socials: May 5th In Carlsbad and San Diego May 19 at Legacy Center.
Training – Bonnie Welch – Contract has been signed for Liberty Station for the March 19 DTA. Bonnie asked about vendor tables, possible 6 to 7 tables.
Foundation – Marge Cole – February 9th training seminar on Zoom. We can do it at 4 pm.
District Governor elect – Chuck Pretto – Noted that engagement may be falling off as a result of the COVID surge. What step can we take to improve.
District Governor Nominee – Me – No items
District Governor Designee – Dianne Crawford working on Patty’s training, the District Leadership Plan and then the Strategic Plan.
