District Foundation Committee met by Zoom at 1 PM. As the District Governor Nominee, I am a non-voting guest of the committee to learn of it’s operations.
Global Grants Subcommittee. G-2801 Virtual Migrant Child Education, has been funded and with Rancho Bernardo, $5,740 Oceanside $240 and Point Loma, for $3,127. The application has not been submitted to RI.
District Grants. 5 District Grants have been completed. We have $11,999.34 remaining for District Grants. $5K has been committed for the Afghan refugees with the Women’s Foundation, part of the San Diego Foundation. There may be volunteer opportunities of District Rotarians. There is almost $7K left to allocate.

Foundation Training for February 9th 2022 – This was a planning committee session for the Foundation Training Seminar February 9th.

Assistant Governor Meeting – at 4 PM via Zoom chaired by Chief Assistant Governor, Susie Callahan.

Chuck – AGs need to attend the January 29th Pre-PETS Zoom meeting with the 2022-23 Presidents.
Each AG gave a report on their Area clubs. Many clubs are meeting virtual. The Area 4 7-Way meeting has been postponed to April.
Dan made an ask of the AGs. AGs to reach out the club, how many projects, how much funds spent, manhours, what is their one benchmark event. The AGs are to send me the responses by March 30..
PEs need to be selected for the following clubs. La Jolla Sunrise, Mission Valley Evening, Holtville, Sweetwater, Coronado Binacional, Valley Center.
PETS is in person so far. Hotel has 1,200 room nights contracted. It will only close down if LA County closes all indoor activity.
