March 25, 2022 – DGE Chuck Pretto, Dave Tweedy, PE Rotary Club of Carlsbad and me were given a tour of the Camp Pendleton Warrior Warehouse by Past District Governor Larry Sundram of Rotary Camp Pendleton, a satellite Club of the Rotary Club of Carlsbad.
Through the non profit Camp Pendleton Community Service Fund, https://cpcsf.org/ donations of household supplies and furniture are collected weekly and delivered to two “warehouses” open to the weather on Thursday. Friday morning active duty Marines and their family line up to get what they need for their homes for free.
Larry then took on on a tour of other Rotary projects on Camp Pendleton; a Memorial Wall and a Memorial Garden.
