October 26, 2021 – Our club had a social at Klaus and Dagmar Gubernator’s home. I ran the grill cooking 12 rather large ribeye steaks. There were baked potatoes and other pop-luck dishes. We watched the sun set and saw the green flash which I tried to photograph, but unsuccessfully. See the phot below.

October 28, 2021 – The Rotary Club no of Del Mar was back at Jimmy O’s. Today I had the cheese burger and waffle fries with a couple of Sculpins. Klaus Gubernator and I set up the Zoom Meeting as seen in the photo. We had 6 Zoom Meeting participants.

October, 23 2021 – I interviewed, for the third time, via Zoom to be the Rotary District 5340 Governor for 2024-25. I was given 3 minutes to introduce myself. I was then asked 2 questions from 8 selection committee members. After the questions I was given 2 minutes for closing remarks. October 21, 2021 – This was the 33rd club official visit by District Governor Dan Gensler to the Rotary Club of Kearny Mesa for lunch at Fish Grub on Mission Gorge Road. We where joined by Assistant Governor Bob Chalfa. For me, lunch consisted of fish and chips.

August 5, 2021 – The club meeting was back at Jimmy O’s. The photos show the hybrid meeting set up with Philippe using his cell phone gimble.

October 21, 2021 – I joined District Governor Dan Gensler for breakfast at the Denny’s in Fallbrook with the Rotary Club of Bonsall for his official visit.
