August 10, 2021 – Donna and I attended the District 5340 Day at the Padres with 28 other District Rotarians and guest. We left at the 7th inning. The Padres went on to win 6 to5.

August 10, 2021 – I joined DG Dan Gensler for lunch at the Elks Banquet Room in El Cajon. Lunch consisted of ham and scalloped potatoes. I have a picture of that below.

August 6, 2021 – I had breakfast with the Rotary Club of La Jolla Golden Triangle at the La Jolla Marriot. The club let vaccinated members and visitors attend in person. Facemasks were required but soon found most of them off. August 5, 2021 – I joined DG Dan Gensler for dinner at the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo at the Bernardo Heights Country Club. Dinner included braised beef ribs, it was very good.

August 5, 2021 – We held our weekly meeting again at Jimmy O’s in Del Mar. Running the hybrid meeting on two lap tops and the house TV and beer are great bed fellows. The hamburger was just as good. August 3, 2021 – I joined District Governor Dan Gensler for breakfast at the Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise for his official visit to the club. The early morning sun is beaming into the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo. The facility was undergoing renovation. The floor was bare concrete.

August 2, 2021 – I attended a District 5340 informational dinner about becoming a District Governor at Matt and Janice Kurth’s home in La Jolla. Several Past District Governors and the District Governor line were speakers. July 30, 2021 – I joined District Governor Dan Gensler official visit to the Point Loma Rotary Club at the San Diego Yacht Club. The views of the bay were beautiful.

July 27, 2021 – Distict Governor Dan Gensler made his official visit to the Rotary Club of La Jolla at the La Valencia Hotel.
