July 23, 2021 – District Governor Dan Gensler made his official visit to the Rotary Club of Chula Visit at the Chula Vista Gold Course and Venue. Lunch was provided by the golf course. Assistant Governor David Hoffman (below) introduced the District Governor.

July 20, 2021 – District Governor Dan Gensler visited the Old Mission Rotary Club at the Legacy Hotel Resort and Spa on Hotel Circle. District Governor Elect Chuck Pretto also attend the meeting. District Governor Dan Gensler and Club President Michele Malin

July 15, 2021 – The meeting was held at Jimmy O’s in Del Mar. Klaus Gubernator and I produced the weekly hybrid meeting using the in house TV screens and speaker system. Philippe Lamoise provided technical assistance and the roaming hand held camera. The quest speaker was Joe Harper, CEO Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.

July 14, 2021 – As District Governor Chief Aide, I attended the Rotary Club of Coronado meeting at Coronado Cays Yacht Club for District Governor Dan Gensler address to his Home Club. Many Past District Governors attended the meeting in honor of DG Gensler’s visit official visit of his Home Club.

July 13, 2021 – I attended the District Governor’s official visit for lunch at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido. The club wrote and sung a song in honor of Dan to the tune of Oh Danny Boy. I recording the sing along and Dan posted it to his Facebook page. July 12, 2021 – I attended District Governor Dan Gensler’s first club visit at the Rotary Club of Carlsbad at the Westin Resort next to Legoland.

July 13, 2021 – Dugan Lamoise lead the committee meeting to review actions items for our October 5, 2021 for our club’s major fundraiser.

July 8, 2021 – The Rotary Cub of Del Mar at the Jimmy ‘Os in Del Mar. This was the first meeting for Karl and Suzy Wagner as co-president. Karl, Suzy and the 2021-22 Board of Directors were sworn in. July 6, 2021 – At Petco Park to watch the the Padres play the Washington Nationals. We were with 48 other Rotary District 5340 members at The Rail in our own private space. The Padres beat the Nationals 7 to 4. Trouble was the beer was $16 per 16 ounce glass. Ouch!

June 28, 2021 – The 2021 District Governor’s Dinner was held at the Del Mar Hilton. Philippe Lamoise and I hosted the event on Zoom. I prepared the PowerPoint presentation.
