November 2, 2022 – The club meeting was at the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club to celebrate the selection of District Governor Nominee Designee Luis Carranza. The room was packed and they needed to bring in extra tables.

October 31, 2022 – Via Zoom at 3:30 pm. We started early to review topics before our Treasurer, Tom Miller and our District Administrator Patty Fortin joined us at 4 pm to discuss financial topics. Patty Fortin and Tom Miller reviewed current topics concerning the Chase checking accounts.

October 29, 2022 – The District 5340 District Conference and the Foundation Gala was held at the Del Mar Hilton.

October 25, 2022 – The Governor Elects got back together to review and practice our 2 minute speech in our breakout group. We all received important feedback prior to Governor Elect Training Seminar (GETS) in Salt Lake City.

October 27, 2022 – I visited the Rotary Club of San Marcos at Cocina Del Charro in San Marcos at noon for lunch. The club hosted 10 LEAD students and their parents. October 22, 2022 – The District 5340 End Polio Now walk fundraiser was at Balboa Park. The walk began at 8 am covering 5 of the 7 bridges in a 3.5 mile route.

October 22, 2022 – The Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo Sunrise conducted it’s annual fundraiser Rancho BEERnardo Festival at Web Park starting at 2 pm.

October 21, 2022 – I attended the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of Del Mar/Solana Beach at the Del Mar Hilton for breakfast at 7:15 am.
