July 26, 2022 – The club meeting was at Cicciotti’s in Encinitas or Cardiff by the Sea. DG Chuck Pretto arrived last, after 12:00 non as he went tot he other Cicciotti’s in Carlsbad. It was Hawaii shirt day at the club. I was given a Hawaiian lei to wear as I the meeting space.

July 26, 2022 – RCDM had a club social hosted by Karl and Suzy Wagner at Cevasco’s in Del Mar. It is a relatively new eatery. Donna and I shared a pizza, bruschetta and French fries. I had a couple of beers as the Happy Hour prices include $3 beers!

July 25, 2022 – The meeting was conduct via Zoom. I had to the take the call on my cellphone as I was traveling to another meeting that was immediately adjacent in time but at another location. July 25, 2022 – The District Governor Line Meeting was at 4 pm via Zoom. Past District Governor is still on vacation in Wisconsin. We reviewed the upcoming calendar of events and a number of hot topics. We discussed Chuck’s meeting schedule and his club speech.

July 21, 2022 – Meeting at Jimmy O’s under new management with Jenna as General Manager. This now includes tablecloths and flowers. The pricing has gone up. We ran a hybrid meeting. July 30, 2022 – District Governor Chuck Pretto made is first official club visit to the Rotary Club of La Mesa, the club of his Chief Aide, Bonnie Welsh. I attended as historically, the DG Line and Past District Governors attend in honor of the new DG first club visit.
